With a fresh batch of ACT records arriving today (thanks to fdlsys ) & looking at my collection having recently done a slight reshuffle began to wonder how the rest of the forumites catalogue/organize their collection. Very simply mine are: New records (any record purchases new no matter the category) Old records (any record purchased second hand, or inherited or given) 2nd hand jazz & blues records with a small section of all the ECM/ACT& windham hill records 2nd hand portuguese records 2nd hand classical records Having now a small but fair number of new ECM/ACT records aswell as probably a handful of other new jazz pressings I?m considering putting all the new jazz together (as a category) and then all other new records no matter the category, keeping all the others the same How is your collection organized? By category? By new/old? Alphabetical via first name? And has anybody tried autobiographical? Like he did in hifidelity[emoji23] https://youtu.be/AQvOnDlql5g Just interested to know how everyone else does Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
