Thanks! Have just tested and that does seem to work, although the recorded audio quality was pretty mediocre (109MB for 1.5hrs). The call itself was also a bit mediocre in terms of connection/call quality. As I need to transcribe these calls, the sound quality does matter for my typing accuracy. Since Skype is not always the most stable application to use, I was hoping to record through Audacity, which would make Zoom & others an option too. But here I can only seem to record either my mic, or my line out (i.e digital grab of what is sent to the speakers). Rather I want a 'flattened'/'merged' audio file which includes both sides of the conversation (line in [mic] & line out [speakers]). Also I don't want to achieve this with an external microphone, which records the speakers playing, as well as my voice. Both line in & line out are passing through my laptop - there must be a way to record them as one down-mixed file? Thanks again for any further advice!
