Not disparaging the pedigree of Furutech which is beyond reproach but I am pretty sure there is a Chinese equivalent that is (nearly) as good An audiophile friend who now lives in Berlin told me about some silver-plated 2.5mm2 twin cable he got from a local German high-end store. When it was delivered, there was the name of a Chinese brand on it that he found sells via Ali-Express. Anyway, the cable transformed his system and I know he is a fussy bugger, when he lived in SA he used to say that the Germans who were in SA were more German that the folks back home. He initially thought that the cable, which has a German brand name, was manufactured at least in the EU He had his more discerning friends around and between them, they required 78m so he ordered a 100m reel from this factory. The landed cost was under 1/3 of what he had paid. He very kindly sent me 22m of it. I am using 12m and gave the rest way to a friend and some for the hi-fi club's toolbox of audio items The landed cost in Germany for a 100m coil was € 560.00. He had paid € 900 for a much shorter piece
