At a shop by the name of "Hi-Fi Specialists" (Closed down now) I asked if I could purchase a pair of BlOwSE satellites. I got some gumph about the requiring special filtering that only the BOSE module could supply. I suggested that it could be nothing more than a simple high pass filter that probably operates from about 100 - 150 Hz upwards. Oh no says Mr Know it All - they start at around 2000Hz. Well an argument ensued which nearly became physical. I nearly reigned down BlOwSE upon him but decided that since I could not hit High or Low it was not worth it. :D :D :D @ Hifi corporation. Don't ask what recievers they carry that have pre-outs on them. "Pre What???". In fact be wary of buying floor models of ported speakers from these guys. A set I got, one of the salesmen had obviosly decided they were underdamped and had stuffed them full of his delicious snot rags
