Hello to all Some advice/ opinion please. Took a pair of 'Celef Domestic 1' out of storage after about 3 years and it doesnt sound as good as it use to. I remember very good bass extension from the AR driver. Now it seems that the bass is much tighter without extension, and cannot be driven as hard as before. The surrounds are in good condition, not The Audax tweeter still sounds as I remember but slightly harsh. Driving this with the same amplifier (Marantz 2215) when it performed well. This amp is great with some standard speakers currently in use. Some what dissapointed as I expected great performance. It didnt do well on the ST70 either, other speakers were fine there. Im thinking maybe the capacitors need some time, but that shouldnt affect the low end or do I need to let it run in for a few days ? Any advice please... Thanks Marantz123.
