about 75% of the times, when I switch on my Sansui dvd player (It came with the wife :P ) the disk will not spin. It will simply come up with a message saying "No Disk" I cannot hear the motor trying to do anything. What is confusing though, is the fact that it is not always a problem. If I have the patience to sit there for 5 minutes switching the player on and off, it will eventually work, and then the dvd will play fine. Any one seen this behaviour? Now mainstream dvd players are dirt cheap these days. Should I just bin this one? If it might be something simple, that will not cost money, I will try it. If it will cost money to fix, i will rather buy a new one.
