I am a DSTV "Premium" subscriber. But not on a permanent basis. I am NOT locked into a debit order, and therefore if I see no value in the next 30 days viewing, I simply don't pay, and I am cut off accordingly. When it's again worth it to re-connect, I simply pay my monthly subscription, with no added charges. That's how I have operating for a number years now. My "due date" for payment in on the 28th calendar day of the month. Problem with being tied into a debit order is......try cancelling it when you want. I've tried numerous times in the past to do this via the Multichoice helpline, but alas with no success. And that means the next step is to go to your nearest DSTV branch, and queue up for service. We all know how painful that can be. And then you are not always guaranteed success in your mission........
