I hate getting things wrong but I do admit when I did. After sitting down to listen to various music and sometimes at high volume I realised that my initial assessment was wrong. It got so bad that I couldn?t listen anymore. I started to look for a beefier power amp and I got the Rotel RB1080 and we are back on business. I have demoed the speakers with demanding songs and played at reference level and it?s all good. My conclusion is still that watts don?t matter but a 60w Rotel is too anaemic
