[QUOTE="Raffs, post: 61872, member: 755"] About 18 yrs ago I used to work for Musica in Durban and to be quite honest the selection was great with both old and new stuff, and in my opinion this was because Musica was privately owned at the time, however when the Discom group acquired the chain it all just fell flat it was more like a convenient store or should I say the bubblegum store, that was when I decided it was time to move on..................since then I have moved to the big JHB and did tons of traveling, if you love jazz strangely enough the HMV in Hong Kong is hooked up for those that are interested!! BTW I was in Durbs this past w/end and payed the Musica in gateway a visit they seem to carry lots of imports.......at a price of course. In JHB I've yet to find a store that serves my needs and Musica is at the bottom of any list. Personally I do lots of Amazon, and HMV UK fortunately for me i get the stuff sent to one of our offices and then it's sent on to me !!...................I wonder what the big wigs at Musica would say to this thread ???
