Skeeter - just so you know - my speakers and receiver was from goneten. I also didn't really know what the differences between dipole, bipole and normal bookshelf speakers. To be honest, now that I do know, - I think I would have prefered bookshelf speakers by description.... as I like to here exactly where the sound is coming from... but the FXi A6's are growing on me now that I figured out I should have had them on bipole instead of dipole. If I understood what I read correctly, dipoles are a bit more difficlt to get their placement right - where bipoles are a bit more forgiving, I currently have mine mounted just below head height when standing, about 40cm behind the seating position, which wasn't right for dipole. I found this quite interesting: http://forum.blu-ray.com/speakers/66471-guide-bipolar-dipolar-direct-radiating-surround-speakers.html EDIT :: How are you finding the Polk Audio sub? Its one thing I don't have yet - and am still deciding whether to go with a big single sub or multiple smaller ones - Leaning towards a big one because of space contraints.
