My 2c... To get my 2 kids of my pc I bought each of them a gaming laptop in February. I decided on the Lenovo's they had on special at Evetech, not because I like Lenovo but because the warranty is directly with Lenovo and not Evetech, and it was 3 years. You register with Lenovo on their site and it is a collect warranty where Lenovo will collect it if it breaks. I was warned about Evetech's on site warranties that can become problematic so I decided on the Lenovo just because you cut out Evetech. Otherwise Evetech's service is great. I purchase from them a lot. The Laptops I got was the Y520 (1050) and Y720 (1060). Solid, and still running great. My kids are 10 and 14 and it runs all games VERY well. Even has HDMI out so my son plays on the TV a lot. I know some people don't like Lenovo but my decision was more based on the 3 year warranty and getting Evetech out the loop. So far very happy with decision. But I am sure the Dell will be good, too. Just read up on the Evetech warranty issues of slow turn around and service. I know some people spoke well of other suppliers too, I think Wootware or something was mentioned. Good luck. I was surprised at the speed of these gaming laptops after I was warned against it, but I am very happy I did it.
