Morning guys, thought I’d share a few pics of my December build, not complete yet, messing around with caps, resistors and Inductors. Peerless tc8fd full range on open baffle with sds s160 mid bass in closed box. At the moment the mid bass has no crossover, full ranger has 1mh inductor and 47uf cap in series and 8ohm resistor bridge between the inductor and cap to the positive. I did try baffle step on the mid woofer but it sounds better without, so my aim now is to keep the mid bass without baffle step and get the full ranger to kick in from about 1khz then try to match the volume between full ranger and mid. Sounds very nice, imaging is good, mids just a bit too but bright for me to completely satisfied. Any advice/suggestions welcomed.
