Tidal or Qobuz and an appropriate DAC will give high res and good quality streaming acces. For non portable use I would rather consider a streamer that you remote control from your smart device. Either in to a dac or with the streamers own if you are happy with its quality. Burning files to cd will mean those files will be limited to 44/16 playback resolution. This isn?t bad, it can be very good. It will allow the use of the better quality (but lower res) dac and output stages in your player without buying gear. Some CD players do work much harder reading burnt discs and this can impact laser life. On the cheap if you aren?t streaming but playing stored files a raspberry pi with dac hat is an option. It will also allow airplay at 16 bit though it may be sample rate converted to 48k from streaming services. I think adagio you mention only does 44/16 res anyway. Airplay is heavy on the battery though as you are transmitting from your phone as opposed to merely controlling.
