Thanks for the reply. I have been thinking about an external DAC. It just seems unnecessary considering that the card had a built in DAC (Burr-Brown PCM1796). How much could I really benefit from an external DAC? And something a little unrealted, just to think about. I often read about upgrading power supplies to a DAC to improve quality. I wonder how this effects an internal soundcard like mine which has a seperate power connector comming off the PSU. That said I have a very good PSU. Just wondering... Any recomendation for a decent RCA to Mini. Wantitall seems to be the only place I can find any. These are my choices so far http://www.wantitall.co.za/Electronics/Monster-IP400-75M-Male-Stereo-Mini-to-Male-Stereo-RCA-Cable-Adapter__B0002EQVMK http://www.wantitall.co.za/Electronics/AudioQuest-class-1-audio-cable-mini-to-RCA-plugs-1m-3-28-stereo-pair__B00092FT5U I think the Monster is the way to go as I have Monster speaker cables and just have a thing for keeping things the same. And its cheaper. Jonathan
