I'm listening to Andreas Vollenweider, with my improvised acoustic treatments, rubber mat etc. One big thing I've noticed is the vibration from the wooden T&G flooring. The spikes are in rubber booties to protect the wood. Do you think a fat concrete base on a rubber mat under the stands would be worth it ? I can then remove the spike covers as well.
