[QUOTE="user 997, post: 1020326, member: 997"] I put in a larger capacity battery in my SUV which is a V6 as well, up to 70Ah from 53Ah initially, though surprisingly the 53Ah lasted longer, but it saw much more regular driving. The 70Ah does crank the engine better though. Short and infrequent distance driving is quite a deadly combo to car batteries, but the quality has also gone downhill it seems, they don't seem to last long past 2-3 years these days. I only got about 2 years out of an Exide "enhanced" battery and then had to replace it just after the warranty expired. The replacement one is now 3 years old, but has seen regular distance driving again, but started complaining in the lockdown and I'm now keeping it charged with a CTEK MXS-10 intelligent charger when I'm not driving a lot and seems to help quite a bit.
