I have the 767 amp and a few weeks ago I ran a test to see if impedance makes any audible difference. Nada! The speakers sounded exactly the same. Which is agreement with Dot's statement. I also used to run 8om paradigm floorstanders with yamaha satelites rates at 6ohms. I don't always play music loud, but when I do.....I do. No problem. The amp was set at 6Ohm all the time. Hook up your speakers and have fun.
