[QUOTE="jvr, post: 834380, member: 15634"] I think my problem has been resolved [insert thumbs up]. My guess is that the Explora needed time to update its soft/firmware and also to get all of its Catch Up features/listings up to date. I noticed substantially more options in the Catch Up menu than earlier the week. The loud and irritating noise has subsided, it seems to run at acceptable levels now. Even more exciting for me [insert whoohoo] is that I am now convinced that the video is noticeably better than the HD PVR 2. I watched some old recorded material on the PVR 2 last night, then switched over to the Explora. Wow. So I just had to take a look at [insert drumroll] Blue Planet 2, Ep 1 which is on the Catch Up menu...and wow-wow [insert drool]...outstanding production, amazing video quality! So for those of you who may also be lined up for an upgrade, relax and enjoy! [/QUOTE]
