Thanks to all concerned. I really appreciate the feedback. naughty, I was considering that, but I thought the catch up is only available via broadband which would have meant extra data (a scarce commodity in our household). So my thinking was that while I am finishing watching the recorded stuff on the existing old PVR, the programs that I am following continue (that I need to record), so somewhere I am going to have a hick-up. Having quickly accessed the FAQ section again, I get the impression that there is a normal catch up menu which is presumably accessible via satellite and then an extended menu for broadband connections. Is that right? Chris, your idea could actually work as I have an unnused Xtraview installation that I could utilise for the transition. The cable is actually close enough (I think) for me to get the two decoders next to (or on top of) each other, which means that I could just swop between them.Or is it possible to position the "old" decoder in the other room and access its hard-drive via the Explora? There would be a small aditional fee, if I remember correctly, but could be worth it.
