Did anyone here get any BIL test tickets? Out of my broader group of friends, and i'm talking about roughly 20 guys, both in SA and elsewhere, not a single one got tickets. I also don't know anyone else who got tickets.
So yes I know it was a lottery etc, but the anecdotal stats seem off to me. What really rubbed it in for me was seeing ads on Facebook for tour packages at about 8 grillion pounds each - that's where the real money is and I'm not sure SARU tried or cares about the average Bok fan - the stadiums are going to be a sea of red again like 2012.
The final nail in the coffin for me was the email this morning graciously offering me tickets for the mid-week games - they obviously couldn't extort enough out of the tickettouts agencies or the touts weren't interested. So we end up sucking the hind tit.
