I've had several Yammies, and the RXV1800 at the moment. I've never been impressed with bi-amping a Yammie. I simply take two sets of identical speaker wires. On the amp side I connect both sets to each terminal (LHS & RHS). On the speaker side i simply take each cable to each set of the separate (bi-wirable) connectors. this has always cleaned up the sound, and done so cheaply. The price of speaker cables in this instance is negligible in comparison to the immediate sound improvement. Even cheap cables can be used and will bring immediate improvement. All older Yammies can be bi-wired this way. the RXV1800 has bi-amping and bi-wiring abilities. I use this method instead of all the other fuss, and it's much preferable to my ears.
