Hi, I need some help in finding someone to look at my 9 year old Yamaha RX-V671. It gave faultless service until just before lock down. I suspect load shedding damaged one of the power supplies. The symptoms are it doesn't power up, it doesn't show the standby power light either. Weird thing is it still sometimes powers up :/ (though still doesn't show the standby light) I got it back from the corner store electronics repair shop (Victoria cash stores), and it powers on about 1% of the time. (They said their suppliers couldn't repair it, but I'm not sure they had the right specialisation and or tools.) This makes me think something is making a bad connection. (One of the ribbon cables?) My limited knowledge of electronics can't see any fuses or caps damaged. Any recommendations in the Cape Town or Somerset West area for someone to take a look at this? Thanks
