Thanks Andre for your concern, appreciate it bud! I'm a bit of a perfectionist and lucky for me so is Garth Moore. A brief history to the amp. A very kind Johan Dreyer (BIG Thank You!) said to me if I could get the amp back to East London (had been standing in a garage UPcountry for some 10 years) and repair I could have her. So the journey began... On landing she was not in great shape but complete. Have taken before photos and will post. Garth stripped her almost completely down and started rebuilding going through the entire amp. Bought 10 of the smaller valves (Thank You Uncle Neil) all RCA and Siemens NOS special quality. As of last night organized (Thank You Mike) the last 10 new KT88 Valves. Going to recoat undercarriage and cage. The faceplate is not in great shape so going to turn it around and reprint the back side. I want to keep the original print just facing inwards. The great news gentleman is that Garth now after much work/repairs has the amp running flawlessly and to factory specifications. You need to see the mans work it's impeccable!
