Since pretty much deciding on buying the Panasonic VT20 (pending reviews), I've become a little obsessed with the idea of upgrading some of my living room gear to better suit the modernity and scale of the set itself. I'll be headed home in a year and this is my last chance to take advantage of the price and availability of these products in Denmark. To this end, amongst other things, I plan on purchasing a second Velodyne. Now I know I'm counting chickens before they hatch but it's fun to dream isn't it? Anyway, question is this, technically the LFE channel begins at 120Hz, correct? Now if I were to place a sub alongside both front speakers, sub localisation wouldn't really be an issue anymore would it? If not, would it then not follow to set your subwoofer to crossover at 120Hz, with the rest of your speakers LF's chipping from 80Hz (or whatever suits them best)?
