[QUOTE="Gman, post: 951839, member: 17849"] I ordered a sheet of 16mm MDF (SupaWood) from a local cabinet cutting company, and then gave them my cut sheet with all the dimensions of the various panels. They did an excellent job and only charged R50 for the cutting and R600 for the board. All their cuts were within 1mm accuracy. Don't do what I did when starting the box build - joining three panels into a "U" shape as shown in the photo below. It means you have to force the other panels in, if you don't get them 100% lined up edge to edge. Rather build a pyramid shape, joining three different panels into a corner. That means if you are a little inaccurate in aligning the panels correctly, it is easier to fit everything together without using a hand plane or sand paper. I'm a novice wood worker and this is my first box ever. I used normal white wood glue and some black cabinet screws to hold the panels together until the glue dried. I pre-drilled all the screw holes to avoid the mdf splitting (it loves to split on this edges and corners when forcing screws in).
