Yes, thank you. What is the price difference between the various of their models? There are lots of specs I agree but what I meant by not being enlightening was that while the specs are fine, it does not explain what the differences between them might be. I thought I was fairly conversant with electronic terms, but found the descriptions, while not mystifying, are difficult to translate into something meaningful I also have this good friend who has "discovered" computer audio and has spent months carefully copying his CD collection to a hard drive, plus buying hi-res music recordings off on-line vendors. He currently uses a SoundBlaster E5 which of course works, but I told him some time ago he could realise much better reproduction with a better DAC and took my own (Viviere DAC) around, to his astonishment. I had shown him your section on the forum and I think he reads it from time to time. His question to me last night when we were around there, which prompted my post a few hours ago, was "what does all this mean". I cannot just brush him off by saying it means that it is more accurate, etc. Before he spends R80k or R100k or whatever it costs, he wants to know what he is getting. There is no urgency with this. If it is a few weeks, then that is what it is Hope this helps. If you prefer, you can email me.
