Hi! Sorry, but I have no real info to share further. Still waiting for the Katana V1.2. I don't think talking about the older version at this point helps anybody, it will only cause confusion. But so far, what I can say is that the Katana V1 has been running for weeks without any hardware problems or software crashes on PiCorePlayer. I have found nothing that does not work so far, even DSD playback gives no issues. So on the driver and software side it seems like the Katana is well catered for :) I did not realize at first, but it came with the newer Raspberry Pi 3B+ that has improved WiFi and LAN. It now supports dual band WiFi AC and "gigabit" LAN, but this is still limited to the USB 2 bus speeds, but at least double the speed it used to be theoretically. I did not even try the built in WiFi due to my experience with the unbelievably bad WiFi performance on the 3B (non plus) version I have on my DigiOne. I just went for my trusty EdiMax Nano WiFi USB dongle from the start. So I will try the on-board WiFi next time and see what speeds I get with all that electronics stuck on top of the Pi VS the USB dongle. I have also never picked up a sound quality improvement using a LAN cable, so WiFi is just fine and more convenient for me to use. Maybe I should also just try a USB DAC again and see what I get with the new Pi 3B+. Will give an update when I receive the new unit. Cheers, W
