Swebende (Fliegende?) Hollaender (leider keine Umlaut hier!): Gleich so. I have great respect for you GD (as also shown in our private posts). It is not the humour that is the problem, but I do believe we are both a little higher up the food and literacy chain than mixing excrement and sex with science! Now about those rings! Nothing surprises me anymore; what with the fancy carbon cable, taking the earth magnetic field into consideration [Absurdi-Quest - ER! (sorry) - I mean Audio-Quest] when winding screen round live in interconnects (do they sell different cables in the northern hemisphere?), not neglecting the lowly oxygen-free copper (apparently all major wire manufacturers discount this as non-existent), raising your speaker cable exactly 27mm above the carpet (some maintain it must be 29mm), holding your wine glass at exactly 31 degrees to get the right - er - nose, milk before tea in a cup. There is apparently a case to be made for a copper ring round the wrist for certain effects (medical, not hi-fi). Oh, there was once also an interconnect - oil-filled between inner and outer sleeves. They did not say how often it should be changed. There are other threads containing some jewels as well. Couldn't we have chosen something simple like gardening for a hobby - or is it worse there? Edit: Typo
