I have neither knowledge nor experience in these matters, So I hope you will get real advice from people who know what they are talking about, but......This is the Internet, so, unencumbered by facts, I may speculate freely. IIRC: Pro amps tend to use fans. Pro speakers tend to use horns and 10-12-15-inch drivers. Warm bodies eat decibels. I suspect these phenomena are related. The set you describe would probably be enough to console me as I sit alonely in my armchair in that room. But with a few dozen of my closest friends and party goblins? And if there is alcohol involved? It seems unlikely that the kit would survive. Then again....Maybe funds are limited, it's for a chaperoned pre-teen birthday, lights on, no booze, enough space between partners for the Holy Spirit. Or it's not your kit. And you run an integrated's tape-out into an input on the other integrated, so you are using all the watts Providence provided. And, as you describe, speakers & sub all have corner-reinforcement and the amps are locked down and out of reach. And you have a fan playing on each amp all the time. And you take the hint when the first amp-protection trigger tells you where the limit is. Then maybe you will be able to squeeze enough decibels out of those little white cones without shredding them. Still seems unlikely, but what do I know? If you can make it work, you could be a hero. Just don't mention this experiment on the insurance claim forms. We never had this conversation.
