Hi All Its been just over a year since I have replaced this HD Explora with a new Hdd and this replacement HDD has also failed...Steps I followed the first time round,I Created 2 partitions using Linux 1x10Gb ext4 and the other partition 990Gb ext4.Hdd 2.5 WD1TB .I then installed the HDD and did a format using the decoder itself and it worked perfectly until 1 week ago.I also since tried to Clone this current drive but there are some files that cannot be copied or transferred onto a new drive. So I am not sure if DSTV has included some kind of lock with a software upgrade in the last year which prohibits one to Clone just the system software onto a new drive.Once you install a new hdd and do a format using the PVR,you will get a response on the Explore lcd display "Pass" or "Fail" I will appreciate any help if anyone knows the current method to format and partition a new Hdd Thanks
