So I am trying to add the TV/Apple TV/BluRay back to my recently upgraded CD stereo system. Wife and myself likes to watch one or two episodes of something funny every now and then. [LF] 3-ch power amp in the Wanted section as I have an old Emotiva UMC1 processor and XPA3 power amp... but the amp is physically too big and the processor is 1080i on cold days. Now I am I thinking, rather spend cR12k on a small Atmos Receiver, use it to power center and surrounds, while running the line out to my stereo system. The ppppre-amp has Processor Pass-through. It just has to move the center and make some noise from the rears. Could this work or is am I missing something? Is using line outs for just two of the channels okay or not a good idea? Any advice or comments would be appreciated.
