My low a flood at the end of September. A river rose past the previous 100 year high water mark. And having to rescue some of my jazz CDs. Flood water and mud wrecked the covers and inserts. I managed to wash some and dissolve the sludge off. Only 2 so far won’t play. Highs. My wonderful daughter who saved my modest LP collection. And helped me disconnect and relocate my equipment before the waters could drown them. And the rest of my CDs. Reconnection of the system last week- cleaned all RCA connections and it’s all sounding good. CRC is magic! Now waiting for a new DAC and a new phono cartridge. Ordered from members of this forum. And thoroughly enjoyed the Cape Town expo. In my view, there were truly inspiring systems. Well worth the two hour drive.
