Highs 1. Getting my hands on a VA Predator. This has single handedly been the most humbling and convincing change to my system. 2. Getting to experience the levels of craftsmanship, knowledge and selflessness of Oom Schalk. We are very lucky to have this man. 3. The CT audio expo and feeling proudly South African as a result of the Sounds Natural room. Those Gryphons were also delightful. 4. Seeing Jacob Banks at Kabo. Really reminded me how powerful music is when people are paying attention to it. 5. Finally figuring out where to place my subwoofer in my living room and having my fiancé accept its position in the famil - I mean - house. Lows 1. It has felt like a weak year for new music. 2. The rand :cautious:
