Hi Gents, The firmware upgrade was done by the Onkyo Agent. So I will try upgrading my PS3 firmware from @.52 to 2.76, and see if that makes a different. P.S Do you think that the TV could be the issue? (Samsung Series 6 46" Full HD LCD)

Hi Analogos, yes I have doubled checked that.  ::) Over and above I have swapped the HDMI cable to each of the four HDMI inputs with no luck. Remember I get picture and sound if I set the amp's resolution to "Through" which means it bypasses the REON chip. So there is no problem with the cables...

Yes, the Monitor out is set to main, and the resolution is set to 1080p.
