Why don't you delve a bit, before you go referring to things. I am not here to do it for you  ;)

Oh ,I see it now. The kitchen table remark, you really don't follow threads and read stuff here properly do you ? Your modus operandi is more a case of reading selectively and then dealing with it in a rhetorical or sarcastic manner.

The post with JDZA's amp makes no sense ,you are one confusing young man. Is this all you and your tjommie have, that I am hiding behind a pseudonym like every other bugger here LOL I know more forumites here in person than I would care to mention.

Come on Byrdie, stop pretending now, we are all grown men here. Really ,please don't let me kill myself with laughter so close to Christmas. I see him very often and Schalk Havenga appears to see things very different to what you are insinuating.

I never recall any bragging, but the guy who built the best home made amp to date, one of the have nots, saw it as that. Seems your correspondence between you and Abe worked well, you have made a sudden turn, was to be expected. Just do me one favor, prove how the system pictures today is not...

I share your sentiments, yet again. Now I don't give a hoot who would have what to say, I can already smell the brain cells from the regulars burning. This forum and it's little clique does very little to make this a friendly place. Yes, I sound like a broken record and blah, blah  with another...

    Bonsai trees

Jonathan is great. His wife has a killer collection of trees. I am not sure if he still does, but he used to do the trees for Woollies. The last tree I bought from him was rather large, took 4 of us to carry it in to my garden. It's a very rewarding hobby, but hard work ,I am sitting on 10 trees...

What's the most expensive album you ever bought?

I reckon when it's a single album on 4 vinyls ,that should qualify ?

Sure. Get rid of the cliques. Let's get back to the topics at hand. Moderators need to stop bullying and patronizing people and start moderating. Get rid of the NSFW stuff , many online forums offer that sort of stuff. Read JDZA's original post. But of course, all the regulars and groupies...

Yeah I do paint a pretty glum picture as you pointed out. Now looking at those stats and members on line, I hardly see that as growth in 4 years. This forum has the potential to draw much more people and as you pointed it's not just in the membership, but what a forum needs to encourage is...

To be honest, yes. This is an audio related forum, that is what I would like to see more of. I have now said this repeatedly, the growth of the forum is stunted, fact.

Rather quote me  ;) So what do you advise. Let's take Alphabet and myself in this thread. I posted in this topic, giving my opinion, he felt the need to provoke, this led to the usual this and that, what is to be expected ? Come on man, we are all grown men here and the days of taking a...

What's the most expensive album you ever bought?

@The OP, I have that CD version of Pulse ,flashing lights and all, I would also be keen to know. Most expensive albums bought. David Gilmour - Live in Gdansk, box set Lp's. John Coltrane - Blue Train on clarity vinyl Tsuyoshi Yamamoto - Midnight Sugar on 45 RPM.

    Audio show needed.

You must be an entrepeneur  ;D

    Audio show needed.

That is going to be a monumental task, I doubt you will be. At the OP, great idea, but it's been hacked to death, the days of the old Sandton Hi-Fi shows are long gone. Judging at how little interest people show in audio on this forum alone, is enough of a gauge for me to predict a monumental flop.

Did you , or did you not provoke ? Stay, away ? Sorry to tell you this, but this is not your forum. Et Tu Brute Enough of you for now. Seems like the ignore function would do you well. As I said much earlier in this thread and earlier in the year, I don't foresee great growth for this forum...

Which amplifier will you keep for life????

Forgot to add my Whisper. My reasons, the man who built these put his heart and soul in to them, he built them for me as custom as he could and went way out of his way for me. They sound damn fine. Colonel, that Pathos TT is an awesome amp, I had one for a short period, an absolute looker as well.

1.Are you telling me or asking me and which discipline ? 2.I will even go as far as to say that the two posts I made in the "which amplifier for life" and "album that influenced your music tastes" yesterday have a more positive impact in the context of the forum than the pathetic attention...

As if they don't know me  LOL Like I said earlier, I made a comment and I referenced back to something I said a while back, you on the other hand felt the need to come out and "attack" my stance, you love to give but can't take it when you get a bit of your own food back, I have said it before...
