I just use Record Out from my NAD integrated which I use as phono stage. Connect to Line In on the PC, record in Audacity. Results are excellent.

I bought an FH5 set some years ago for R200. All it needed was belts for the deck. Still going strong, and those speakers are surprisingly good. Excellen\t analog tuner, pre-outs, and a decent phono stage. Quite a brilliant little system!

Yes, they were excellent, as Shaun (and Sean) also mentioned. Very similar in character to the JPW Mini Monitors actually, also mentioned before. If memory serves, they use the same drivers? I still have a set of JPWs somewhere, sadly with one blown tweeter.

That AVR is really not bad. I reckon upgrading the fronts to decent floorstanders will make a huge difference.
