Specific a Mac mini. Seems 32" LED tv's are pretty cheap compared to large monitors. Any reason why i can't or shouldn't use a tv as pc monitor?

I saw something on CSI last night. A guy used glue (looked like wood glue) to clean a vintage vinyl. As seen on tellie: you spread the glue evenly, let it dry and then lift it with all the crud right off. Anyone else seen it? Will it work? Is it advisable?
