I have small (Harmon Kardon) wall mounted speakers - don't think it will work with such a large opening?

How do you terminate the conduit, especially for the speakers? Just flush with the wall or do you put in a box?

In the same boat as you and currently leaning toward LG!

Hi, I will be renovating my lounge/tv room soon and want to take all the cables in-wall. Are there any guidelines etc available so that I can get the electricians to put the right kind of conduits and leave holes in the right places? TV will be wallmount and speakers are small wall mount type...

Haven't gone down the Netflix route yet but its on the todo list. Might be worth looking at 4k options then. Thanks Naughty!

Thanks Naughty - wasn't aware there was a 4k bluray on the horizon.  I do still watch mostly off a HD pvr though. I suppose once we get fibre downloading 4k content might catch on too.

I have exactly the same requirements as you the: 1) not paying extra for smart- all my sources are smart 2) don't want curve as wall-mounting 3)4k - no 4k content available in the next 5 years so why bother

No need for UHD. Don't like curved. No need for anything "smart" Anything beyond Samsung and LG worth looking at?
