yup - I'd say they need to have BT too. For example when working in the office etc. My piano connect via BT just the drums that need a cable

Are you referring to the blue lights on the unit? There are blue lights which indicate the level, and another indicating if the UV-C light is turned on or off. I have one of these in my bedroom, and must say I don't find it irritating. Never really thought about it. Easy enough to cover them...
