I have 1 sme tone arm, so plinth will be for 1 arm.

Just picked up a Garrard 301 and I have an SME 3009 tonearm and was wanting a nice heavy wooden plinth for it. If anyone has one or knows of someone who can make one, please let me know.

Have tried plenty of speakers, monitor audio, Klipsch r28f, paradigm monitor 11, sonor audio, mission, tannoy etc etc....then decided to try the Bentley Acoustic 120's. Arrived extremely well packaged, connected up and started to listen.....from the word go they were good.....very good....but...

Ebay. Yaqin MC13S. Have upgraded to Gold Lion 12AX7 tubes and Tung Sol EL34 power tubes. Also using a Yaqin MS-33B phono stage.

I replaced my Paradigm monitor 11v4 with a set of Klipsch R28F'S.....find the voices and guitars/symbals are not as detailed or as "deep" as the Paradigm's. Was wondering if this has to do with placement or is it a Klipsch trait? Was also keen on a pair of Vandersteen 1c's....does anyone here...

I've tried them all and find it to be the best, everything is removed from the grooves. Best is to use a spin clean first for a basic wash then the ultra sonic for a deep and thorough clean.

I have a couple of p mounts. Will check my box and revert.

That's a good price on a debut carbon, cheapest I've seen is R9900 with ortofon red.

I would just like to ask a quick question, I am currently using a Marantz CD63 KI CD Player which is obviously a great cdp. Would this sound any better running through a +- R5000 dac? Or would a R1000 cdp running through the same dac sound the same? Thanks
