75ohm for digital co-ax, 50 ohm for analogue signals

I guess there are only so many scenarios where one can do a true comparison with 2 components offering both to hear the merit.  It?s there though.  Now, would I pick a premium rca co ax over a technically ok BNC, bets are off.

75ohm for digital co-ax, 50 ohm for analogue signals

Not rubbish but BNC is preferable.  Compatibility/AV industry accepted standard and convenience really.

The real value of SA Audio

I think one needs to realise that this was not an independent show event set up by an event organiser with massive space cost to individual exhibitors.  It was a hybrid launch of a retail business that appears to want to place focus on a range of locally produced audio gear in which they...

The Stereo Music Show 18 -20 June Carnival City Conference Centre Rio Rooms

Closer to R100k than R50K I got from the designer Ryan.  The challenge always for new business is the anticipated distribution model.  This directly affects price.  I believe it can be hard to recover from the wrong model or implementation down the line.  One needs to start where you want to...

Strange ask I know, want to downscale a signal

I read the op to quick and assumed an internet radio receiver was used.  Yes, midi settings should allow you to reduce output sample freq of the optical out of the Mac.

    Pentacon 4.4mm Male Jack

Pity about the aggressive stance but I understand your frustration, I am trying for you to understand mine.  The connectors I have are imported for my business.  Part of of which is making up custom cables. I need to look after that properly imo rather than an odd ad hoc sale of a connector to...

HFX end of an era with Bowers and Wilkins and Marantz ..

Their business and all the other brands they sell including b & W and Marantz, they just don?t import those anymore.  It was a conscious decision to move away from importing those lines and I don?t believe they are looking to replace them with similar lines.  I reckon successful import and...

    Pentacon 4.4mm Male Jack

I imported these connectors for making up cables, not to sell connectors, you may have misinterpreted a post.  I am happy to assist anyone in need of custom headphone cables that take or modify existing cables with them.  No long stories. Simple. I will re check my stocks when I can in a few...

    Naim Solstice and Aro 2

Excited to see the return of Aro in a a way though one would probably consider a Bauer Tonarm or AA Javelin on another turntable.  Built for Naim by the usual suspects.

    Low Ball Offers

The flipping and being untruthful about the reason you can?t pay more.  First time that?s obviously something you the seller don?t know.  How about beating down a guy who sells nought but his time and a few parts at cost (and doesn?t sell a whole lot of it) with the same sob bare foot snot...

    Low Ball Offers

Agreed.  Worse yet if low ball comes with a sob story of dreams and bare feet and snotty noses against shop windows pulling at heartstrings to just flip days later.  So imo there are morally fine low balls and corrupt ones. If you speculate with kit, be honest about it. Sent from my iPhone...

    What hifi magazine...?

These magazines used to be imported via sea freight.  We always got may in June and that?s a while considering may hits shelves in April in Europe.  In today?s online world I don?t think anyone would accept that.  Print is dying slowly but will be around for quite some time still.  Just not...
