I've used screened cable for all the steppers. Don't think it is necessary for limit switches. I use Geco drives and they do generate noise.

Do not buy the Triton one. I have one of them and even though it works well its not worth 800 bucks. All you get for your money is a bucket with a lid and 2 pipes. There are a lot of diy separators on youtube which is much nicer for a lot less.

I'm  just fed up with the remote blasters. Would be nice to have a decoder at each tv.

For normal diy use I think the Pro Tech bits are just fine. I always use a thicker bit for cutting out baffles 10-12mm they last longer.
