Thought I was the cat's whiskers when I upgraded from my folk's Denon TT to my own CS505 with OM10 cartridge. Soon upgraded to a Goldring 1020 which I loved - brings back many fond memories of my first system........

A comment/thought - apology but not acoustics related - but new build related. I see that many rooms have rear entry - I would never do this (again) when doing a new room build. Not sure about other guys - I tend to get so involved with the music/movie that I get a huge fright every time...

My last kid is moving out of the house on Wednesday - this weekend I reclaimed my TV/Audio room and moved my speakers as per Cardas setup guide. Wow!!!! I always had a good stereo image but a flat soundstage & some bass boom. Difficult to get used to speakers 2.4m from front wall though...

Bought some AKG headphones from them about two months ago. Delivery took much longer than anticipated as the "in stock" label meant in stock at supplier - who was apparently in the USA.....
