hi all any comments on the sf venere 3.0 loudspeakers. there is a pair up for sale and am seriously considering it. I currently have  dali mentor 6's with quad 99 pre-amp and quad 99 monoblocks. I would really appreciate some advice. the store is in cape town and I am in kzn, so auditioning them...

i just inherited a vintage mcintosh c11 valve preamp. it was in storage for a while...long while....it worked perfectly for a few days and it has now developed a hum which gets louder when the volume increases  ...is there anyone in the durban area that can have a look and maybe sort this...

ive finally received the quad monoblocks from papp3...connected it to my kef reference and played dire straits. boy-oh-boy..it did everything and more what pappa3 said it would do...very transparent soundstage...enhanced the midrange drastically and surely has power in abundance...then put on...

..i just inherited an ancient denon dcd 1560 cd player...skips tracks and sometimes doesnt read discs.... ive been told that spares are hard to come by...can anyone help to get this unit repaired...
