I'm FNB, she is Standard Bank. Apparently, the FNB quick clearance service clears within 1 hour to other banks. That means I need to keep her entertained for an hour.

That sucks! I've always had good experiences with WD. I always buy these external drives on special and crack them open - much cheaper, but if there is potentially an issue with these drives and I've voided my warranty I'd be careful.

I had a cell-c dongle with 3gig p/m data last year. Totally useless, could rarely connect at work or at home. Luckily, work paid for it otherwise I think I would have hounded them for a refund.

The PC industry will shrink a little to make way for mobile devices. The people who used to buy pc's for email/internet suddenly have no need for a dedicated home pc. But, pc's are going nowhere anytime soon - I couldn't live without mine.

Mweb is good for downloaders. I don't seem to get shaped or throttled much at all, unless Seacom cable is down or some other gremlin.
