    "Missing" sound

I need some advice. I currently have a Yamaha 1040 driving Wharfedale diamond 10.7 speakers and a Jamo 650 sub. It feels as if there is something "missing" in the sound when watching movies and listening to music. There is also lack of bass. I dont know how to explain the "missing" sound but...

    New 65" TV

Posts and comments like this made me choose Samsung over Hisense. Even though the Hisense is 4 year vs 2 year warranty I don't want unreliable stuff. Samsung is amazing. Massive upgrade over my old plasma. Very happy and enjoying the TV ALOT.

    New 65" TV

At last got the Samsung onto the wall. Not that an easy task for a 65" TV... Blown away by how bright the TV is vs my old plasma 51E550. The detail is amazing but at first everything seemed "to real". The makeup etc. looked very fake. I jchanged all the settings as per RTING site and movies now...

    New 65" TV

I got the Samsung 65Q60R in the end for R1k more. From everything I've read the Hisense is a hit or a miss. I don't have the best of luck so not willing to take the chance. The Hisense is either brilliant or terrible while the Samsung seems to be constant mediocre... Hope I am not disappointed.

    New 65" TV

Ok so currently 2 contenders Hisense 65Q8600 (gamble if you get a good panel) or Samsung 65Q60R (not a FALD) panel... Thoughts on the Samsung for R3k more?

    New 65" TV

How sure are you that the 65Q8600 is a FALD display? From the limited information I can gather I only see "Local dimming" and no mention on the amount of zones?

    Are all OLED the same?

Came across this topic: https://www.avforums.co.za/index.php/topic,83254.0.html and was wondering what the difference in OLED technologies are? It seems as if LG is the sole manufacturer of OLED panels? As an example LG 65C9 is R50k, LG 65B9 is R35 and Skyworth 65S9A is R24k. Is the C9 really...

    Skyworth 65S9A OLED

Also interested if anyone got a Skyworth OLED and what the thoughts are on the different OLED TVs? Prices between OLEDs: LG 65C9 - R50k (Takealot) LG 65B9 - R35k (Metro Home) Skyworth 65S9A - R24k (Takealot)

    New 65" TV

It doesn't seem as if my R3,000 Hisense 75A6500 is going to work out. Any suggestions for a 65" TV with a budget of about R15k?

    75" TV

Need a new TV and my thoughts is to take the risk for R3k. Hope I am not too disappointed with image quality? Most of the time watching downloaded series and movies via chromecast 2/plex.
