This is probably a case of overthinking it, but here goes... If I feed an analogue signal, from an external DAC, to the 'line in' 3.5mm input of a Powernode 2i, will that signal evade the Powernode's own (lesser) DAC and simply be amplified for speaker output? In other words, for this use case...

This is all true. However, the post by Sailor which my comment was in response to, was about the UK-Rep of Ireland Common Travel Area, which has been in existence since 1922 and is COMPLETELY unaffected by Brexit.

The Common Travel Area predates the EU by about 60 years and has been completely unaffected by the Brexit 'debacle'. 😉
