Hi guy's, what influences would a resonance chamber have o a speaker stand.

If you were to design your own speaker stands, what would you do, tell me your different ideas, wood verses metal, filled or not. I want to get an idea of what people look for in a stand.

If my amp is rated at 70w, would a larger speaker be better than a smaller one, my old system had 61/2 inch wide range twin cone speakers that are damaged. Does size matter in the loudness of the sound.
