I'm trying to find where I can get original ATH M50X ear pads locally, or would it be best just to order them from Amazon? I found no name brands on TakeAlot, but one of the reviewers said that these pads muddied the sound on his ATH's. Or is there perhaps another option to o with locally?

Thanks for your input man i was looking at the DT770 as well. I had a good long conversation with someone and they said they are really happy with their ATH m50x's, so after 3 days of research i finally palced my order on the ATH's. Really excited to get them now. Shot a lot for advice
