Thanks alot, the b&w 685 bookshelfs are powered via a denon 2307,they sound great, However was advised that due to them being bookshelfs they won't give me mid bass, And certain frequency, reason for me asking about the MA, I am new to the whole audiophile world

Hi Guys Any advice on how you guys stream music? i am streaming youtube and listening to music, Problem is some pages have good quality music, however alot of videos the sound quality is not that great, wanting to know if there are better platforms for music, i really enjoy the video and music...

well noted , But the speakers im using cant go as low in frequency , I opted for an Avr so i can hook up an active sub for the low frequency, i understand stero amps doent  have that facility, the good part of the 2307 is that it has pre outs so i can hook up an external power amp to run these...

thank you kindly, i managed to get the avr on pure direct last night, major difference :) , not as dull and flat as before, thanks, however i feel the speaker is playing at about 60 percent of its capacity , the power is also an issue, but its working good for now

thank you , Could possibly be, I dont fully understand all the settings on the Avr , its far to complicated, I dont even know how to get the bass and trebble settings yet, maybe the settings are off, however i  do have the fronts set on large and got the levels at 8 on both

Thank you, sadly im from Durban , we never get much fun things down here ;D , Actually bought them by reviews, however i did hear quads and a few other speakers, i suspected its power as iv heard a set of speakers on a marantz 100w amp and then heard the same set on a 200wpc rotel and i clearly...

Hi Members Got my Denon Avr2307  , and just received my beautiful set of B&W 685, but for some reason i feel the amp just dont drive them, the sound is not crisp and deep, I even changed my cabling to Supra cables but still the sound is not as good, Any suggestions on what i can try,Alot of...

Thanks guys, I located a neat pair of 685 s1 for 3k including shipping, hoping all goes well, I did a diy for the stands, hoping it all goes well, and hoping my avr 2307 will give them enough power just until I get a power amp

thanks bud, the c603 is going for 2.5k whilst iv seen the 685 sell for 5.5k up , i think i will go with the c603 until such time i save enough up

seen a set of neat clean Jamo c603 , are they considered Audiophile quality,Seen the B&w 685 comes very highly recommended aswel
